CONSULTANCY : TRIPOLI PORT, LIBYA

In March 2009, OPM was appointed by Socialist Port Company (SPC) to provide Consultancy services for the re-organization and revamp of port management and operations in Tripoli Port. The primary obective of the Consultancy Study was on improving the performance and capacity of the port for Break Bulk and Container operations.

OPM submitted various recommendations to cover all aspect of the terminal activities including:

2. Berth Allocation
3. Port layout
4. Manpower Organization
5. Port equipment requirement
6. Port equipment maintenance and repair
7. IT Systems
8. Port manpower Training
