EXECUTIVE MANAGERS of SHAHID RAJAEE CONTAINER TERMINAL 2 (SRCT2), BANDAR ABBAS, IRAN DECEMBER 2007 – JANUARY 2010

 

tc_srct2Upon successful completion of the project management of Shahid Rajaee Container Terminal 1 (SRCT1), OPM was appointed by Tidewater Middle East Management as Executive Managers of Shahid Rajaee Container Terminal 2 (SRCT2). SRCT 2 consists of 850m of deep-water berths and 65 hectares of back-up area for container storage. Operation in SRCT 2 was supported by 8 Super Post Panamax Quay Cranes capable of handling the world’s largest vessels up with a boom outreach of 22 rows, together with 18 RTGs and 65 Prime Movers.

OPM managed and operated SRCT2 as a modern, international container terminal in accordance with the best practices and standards of port industry.

  • Jump in throughput from 390,000 TEUs in 2008 to 922,000 TEUs in 2009
  • Vessel Productivity increased by 70 %
  • Quay Crane productivity increased by 30 %
